Put another Kabob on the Bar-b-q.....

yessiree, nothing like a cook-out!  Let's see, on the menu - shish kabob (all I know is that it's meat and veggies - hold the veggies on mine), ok if you have to serve the kabob over rice I guess I can live with it, and salad (geez, more veggies!)


Tidbit for the Day - If you taste test your kabob before it goes on the grill, then it's a sure guarantee that one will be yours!

Ice cream & Frosty Paws Run...

just gotta love 'em!!!  Of course that is when the place is actually open so the humans can get their ice cream.  As for yours truly, never fear, my assistant brought along my Frosty Paws so I could join in the ice cream social.....which ended up being back at home since the ice cream place still isn't open yet!  : (


Tidbit for the Day - Whenever you get the chance, make sure to let your ears fly with the breeze as you're riding in the car!  Just watch out for any oncoming bugs though!  (Doggles, hhmmm, now which color should I go with??)

Checking in.....

seems my assistant has been rather busy this week which means slacking on my blog!  Priorities I say!  Well anyway, Friday afternoon was a nice quiet lunch at home - a sampling of tuna (2 paws) and then a lazy afternoon snooze for all (definitely 2 paws!)

Healthy snacking.....

so I'm sitting there on the couch working the new lesson learned "big brown eyes" with "cute smile" and in return I get a sunflower seed!  Bird food!!!!   Hmmmm, on second thought ..... not too bad.

Saturday Fun Day....

means field trip first to PetSmart - talk about lots of new friends to check out and then off to Pet People and more adoring fans.  And what was on the list?

1. Yummy food - check

2. Super Dog training treats - check (mind you got the training down but will never turn down a good treat ; ) 

3. Glucosamine treats - check (every Super Dog knows you have to make sure to stay limber!)

4. And possibly most important of all, all-natural chew sticks - what a way to have to brush the 'ol teeth!

Tidbit for the Day - Afternoon movie at home definitely a great way to totally chill.  That Dug on Up is hilarious - hmm, wonder what my voice would sound like with one of those talking collars??

Taking Notes......

on Bolt's different moves, especially when dealing with Mittens (pesky cat)! Just like Bolt, my assistant is one of MY most important humans.  Now you wouldn't find me jumping from a moving vehicle, but using the "begging, big brown eyes" now that's definitely a keeper!

Just Call Me "Mr. Invincible"

or at least when I run out to protect my domain (my backyard).  Ok, so there's a fence all the way around the yard, but still it doesn't stop those pesky squirrels, rabbits and occasional possum from wandering in.  Yep, we even had a possum visit a while back - not as much fun as the squirrels though.

Tidbit for the Day - Always make sure to give a healthy "I'm here" bark when out in the yard.  Hey, I may be furry and have adorable brown eyes, but never forget I'm a true force to be reckoned with - you pesky squirrels!
